Friction Folder is my version of the traditional Japanese higo knife with a very long tradition. The blade is made of stainless steel AEB-L with hardness 60-61 HRC. At the end of the blade there is a thorn which ensures that the knife does not close itself when the blade is opened and gripped. The handle is made of stainless steel.

The Friction Folder is the perfect backpacking partner for both the chunder and the urban jungle. It should be reckoned that due to its construction it requires a bit of skill and strength to open and close the knife, although the knives are already from my manufacture “loose” and of course lubricated.
