The Chef Gyuto S-hook is a universal chef’s knife with a special S-hook cut that facilitates passage through the raw material and reduces sticking of food during slicing. Its length and shape make it ideal for working with meats, vegetables and herbs – it can handle everything from fine slicing to long cuts.
The blade is made from Czech AK5 tool steel with a hardness of 56-57 HRC, offering a great balance between sharpness, durability and ease of sharpening. The stabilized wood handle fits well in the hand and resists moisture and temperature fluctuations.
Never put the knife in the dishwasher – just rinse with water and wipe dry after use. I recommend sharpening on water stones to maintain sharpness. If you need any advice on sharpening, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
